The Zip Line « La Tyrolienne »
Are you looking to get even higher? Then come and try the zip line!
The zip line stretches for 1,300 metres and takes 1 minute 45 seconds from end to end, offering breathtaking panoramic views along the way.
The start line is at the high point of the 3 Vallées (3,230 m) in the Orelle area, finishing at the Val Thorens peak.
Cime Caron – The best view of the alps
If you love the mountains, you’ll simply adore Cime Caron!
Hop on board one of the Caron panoramic cable cars and experience one of the most breathtaking views of the Alps. Enjoy an unbroken view of Mont Blanc and 360° panoramic view of more than 1,000 Alpine peaks in France, Italy and Switzerland.

Having fun on your skis is the essential part of a successful holiday! To ensure that everyone finds what they are looking for, Val Thorens offers initiation or improvement classes in many fun areas.
You can start with the Fun Slope, a piste suitable for the whole family for your first experience and then progress in the Easy Park for your first successful figures.
Finally, if you are at the right level, or simply what to be amazed by what you see, then head to the ultra-creative snowpark modules to watch the pros freestyle skiing and snowboarding!
The Val Thorens Ice Track
The ice track is one of Val Thorens’ most iconic locations. Whether you’re looking to improve your winter driving skills or seeking a thrill, come and learn how to control your vehicle on snow and ice.
For the last 20 years the track has hosted the highest stage of the Trophée Andros, a popular, spectacular and high-quality ice-driving competition.
Getting to Les 3 Vallées ski area
From Val Thorens, set off to explore Les 3 Vallées, the world’s biggest skiing area with 600 km of slopes to suit all levels.
In total there are more than 330 slopes, almost half of which are easy slopes and half of which are “expert” slopes. So there’s something for everyone.
